The Blue Bell Creameries Visitor Center is open for plant tours year-round, on weekdays only. There is a nominal charge for the 40- minute tour that includes a short, humorous film and ends with a dip of your favorite ice cream flavor. Groups of 15 or more are required to make reservations year-round. During Spring Break, reservations are required for all visitors. The Blue Bell Country Store, specializing in Blue Bell logo items and country-style gifts, is open Monday through Friday (and on Saturdays from March to December). The Monastery of St. Clare Miniature Horse Ranch is located nine miles east of Brenham on State Highway 105. The Monastery is home to a group of Franciscan Poor Clare Nuns who support themselves by raising Miniature Horses and by selling handmade ceramic items in "The Art Barn" gift shop.  Visitors are welcome to pet the horses, browse in the gift shop, and spend a few quiet moments in the Chapel between 2 pm - 4 pm daily.

There is no admission fee to roam around the grounds, but donations are accepted.  Groups of 15 or more may reserve a 45- minute guided tour by advance appointment ($3.00 for adults, $1.00 for children).
